The Joy of Drawing Club is a creative hub for anyone who loves to draw, whether you are a complete beginner or an old hand. Our mission is to bring you joy through the experience of drawing in a community of like minded people of all ages and from all corners of the globe.

Meet Katy Lea and Caroline Mustard, founders of the Joy of Drawing Club and co-authors of the Joy of Drawing book and video series.
‘We believe that drawing is a skill that anyone can master. We have an amazing series of events, both online and safely outdoors in person where we showcase different drawing mediums. Each month will have a new theme and drawing challenge and we can’t wait to see what you create!’
Let’s draw California animals!
Please join us for some fun and upcoming workshops. On August 14th we will be learning to draw animals in the landscape - Caroline will be showing us how her love of illustrating animals began in childhood with the books of Gerald Durrell. Plus on August 24th we will be visiting the small children’s Zoo in Palo Alto to put everything we have learnt in to action!
